The shingles vaccine programme has changed
The shingles vaccine programme has changed from 1st September 2023. This change will be undertaken in a phased approach over 2 stages during a 10 year implementation period.
- Are you aged 70 to 79? You are eligible for the shingles vaccine.
- Are you aged 65 on or after but not before the 1st September 2023? You are eligible for the shingles vaccine.
- Are you aged 50 & severely immunosupressed? You are eligible for the shingles vaccine if you have not one before.
We will be inviting all eligible patients over the coming months, please do not contact us until you have had an invite.
