Infection control guidance
Infection control guidance from NHSE was updated on 1 June.
The updated guidance from NHS England means that not all patients will be asked to wear a mask or face covering when attending the Practice. We will now only ask patients attending the Practice who have respiratory or COVID19 symptoms to wear a mask or other face covering if they are able to.
If you are coming to the Practice to see a member of our team because you have respiratory symptoms, you will be asked to wear a mask or face covering.
Clinicians at the Practice will not routinely wear a facemask when seeing you for your appointment. They will wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms and will wear a mask if you ask them to. Some staff may choose to wear a mask to limit their own risk, but this will now be an individual decision.
Thank you for your cooperation in wearing a mask over the last 2 years.
